The Price of Silence” – A History of Slavery, Emancipation, and Struggle in New Jersey
In recognition of Black History Month, the New Jersey State Library will host a screening of the three-part, New York Emmy Award–nominated PBS documentary The Price of Silence. You are cordially invited to this FREE event, taking place in-person at the New Jersey State Museum’s Auditorium located at 205 W. State St., Trenton, NJ 08608. Upon conclusion of the screening, we will hold a panel discussion with producer Ridgeley Hutchinson and documentary contributors Beverly Mills, Dr. Linda J. Caldwell Epps, Toni Hendrix, Assemblywoman Shavonda Sumter, and Dr. Damali Campbell-Oparaji. Registration is encouraged as space is limited.
