DESCRIPTION:To commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Inde
 pendence\, EagleVision Productions\, Inc. has produced a one-hour document
 ary\, Road to Liberty Through Their Eyes\, that NJ PBS will broadcast on T
 hursday\, May 21\, 2026 at 9:00 PM\, and the National Educational Telecomm
 unications Association (NETA) will distribute to public television station
 s nationwide on July 1\, 2026.\n\nRoad to Liberty Through Their Eyes is a 
 truly remarkable story of perseverance\, survival\, and triumph that needs
  to be re-told for a 21st century audience. Never again would the battle f
 or American Independence be so vulnerable and so close to defeat as it was
  in those months leading up to Christmas 1776 and the Battles of Trenton a
 nd Princeton. The story will unfold through quotes from contemporary journ
 als and letters read by off-screen actors\, as well as interviews with his
 torians and experts on various topics and little-known stories that enable
  the audience to relive the formative years of the American Revolution\; a
 long with illustrations\, paintings\, maps\, artifacts\, military reenacto
 rs\, and location footage that will provide a visual background as the Pat
 riots struggle against the mightiest nation in the world to defend its fle
 dgling nation – the United States of America\, and its new form of gover
 nment - Democracy.
