 n's ranks at the Old Barracks Museum’s Colonial Summer Day Camp for an u
 nforgettable week of exploring American history! Designed for children age
 s 9 to 12\, the camp runs from July 13 to 17\, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM eac
 h day. Registration costs $275 for Old Barracks Association members (Lieut

 in the 18th century\, with activities such as cooking stew in the camp kit
 chen\, marching to local historic sites including the New Jersey State Hou
 se and the 1719 William Trent House\, playing 18th-century games\, and mor
 e. Campers will showcase their newfound knowledge in a special ceremony fo
 r family members on the last day of camp. Plus\, each camper will receive 
 a t-shirt to complete their camp uniform. Lunch is included for all camper

 and learning!\n\nABOUT THE OLD BARRACKS MUSEUM: The Old Barracks Museum i
 s a popular destination for schools and groups who are interested in learn
 ing about New Jersey’s role during the American Revolution. Built in 175
 8 to house British soldiers during the French and Indian War\, this buildi
 ng bore witness to Washington’s crucial victory at the Battles of Trento
 n and became an army hospital later in the war. The Old Barracks Associati
 on purchased the site in the early 20th century\, turning it into a museum
  which welcomes student groups from across the nation to share its rich hi
 story through first-person interpretive programming and group tours.\n\n\n
