 and the 6th President of Princeton University. Avril will tell the tale o
 f how she carefully restored the historic mansion and worked closely with 
 D&amp\;R Greenway to ensure permanent preservation of the historic landsca
 pe.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nDonna Lazartic - a leading force\, with World War II ve
 teran Lt. Col. Robert Vaucher\, in the quest to save historic land where t
 he Continental and French armies marched in Bridgewater\, NJ. Along the Wa
 shington-Rochambeau National Historic Trail\, the land was threatened by d
 evelopment. Donna will speak about how the community partnered with D&amp\
 ;R Greenway through the twists and turns that led to preservation.\n\n&nbs
 p\;\n\nPhilip Getty - a geologist with a keen sense of how to methodicall
 y study the land to discover the secrets it holds\, will show-and-tell abo
 ut the evidence he found at Hillside Farm in Hopewell\, confirming that Ge
 orge Washington's troops encamped here during the American Revolution. His
 toric maps\, journals and letters show this to be the site of a very large
  Continental Army encampment of over 10\,000 troops\, a rest stop on the r
 oute to the Battle of Monmouth\, three days hence in June 1778.\n"The Prin
