 e\, and ideas.  He will be speaking on “How a Lad from Rural Virginia C
 ame to Write the Declaration of Independence”. He will go into some dep
 th on Jefferson’s thinking and suitability for this watershed event in A
 merican history. An important part of his presentation takes the form of a
 nswering questions from the audience. You will be entertained by his conv
 incing portrayal of Jefferson\, as well as benefited from his extensive kn
 owledge of Jefferson's life.\nJohn’s commitment to the preservation of t
 he lessons and examples of historic early American personalities is compli
 mented by his work as past President of the Palm Beach and St. Petersburg 
 Chapters of the Sons of the American Revolution\, his work as state chair 
 of the annual SAR Knight Essay Contest for high school students\, and over
